The Iran Tea Producers, Merchants, and Tea Packaging Industries Association began its activities in 1976. The organization was initially part of the Tehran Union of Foodstuff Wholesalers. In the early 1990s, it became independent from that organization and continued its activities as an independent association.

The Association of Iranian Tea Producers, Traders, and Tea Packaging Industries currently has more than 170 active members.

Mr. Shahriar Daryani currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors, while Mr. Ayoub Darvishi serves as the Association’s Secretary.
