According to the Public Relations Office of The Association of Tea Producers, Mohammad Reza Farzin, Governor of the Central Bank of Iran, said that under the current circumstances and due to the restrictions resulting from sanctions, it is not currently possible to unify the exchange rate.

He added that the gap between exchange rates should be minimized, as disparities between rates create opportunities for rent-seeking. He further emphasized that economic rules must be taken seriously in Iran.

Farzin expressed hope that, through the new classification system currently being developed, it will be possible to better manage and control the economy.
